As if Twitch wasn’t in the news enough already, the platform is making headlines again, following yesterday’s successful campaign by top broadcasters to ban gambling from the live streaming service. However, rather than money issues, we are dealing with sexual assault and harassment issues as personalities like Maya and Mizkif have been accused of encouraging the concealment of an abuse victim’s traumatic experience. Now Mizkif is facing repercussions.
Content Warning: Assault Descriptions
AdrianahLee is a Just Chatting streamer who plays occasionally Minecraft and Appreciate. AdrianahLee, a laid-back content creator, came forward in June 2021 with a TwitLonger post describing a disturbing experience she claims she had with gaming broadcaster CrazySlick, at a birthday party in 2020. While she was reportedly intoxicated, AdrianahLee related an incident where CrazySlick followed her, tried — and reportedly did — kiss her, and touched her “neck and chest” multiple times to check her heart rate after she passed out in one of the rooms.
Although AdrianahLee clarified in the first post – which she now says was somewhat coerced – that CrazySlick did not “rape or assault her”, she noted that his actions still “made me feel uncomfortable”. CrazySlick posted a TwitLonger message of his own not long after, apologizing for “making her feel uncomfortable” and being drunk, but nothing came of it. More recently, the allegations have resurfaced.
Now, AdrianahLee has taken to Twitch and Twitter to elaborate on the situation, saying the original TwitLonger post was a “diluted version of the story that was proofread” by Just Chatting streamer and conservationist Maya and others. In a two-hour livestream, AdrianahLee said Maya and Mizkif pressured her to speak up as soon as possible so that the two didn’t have to kick CrazySlick out of the house. (CrazySlick is best friends with Mizkif and lived with Maya and Mizkif; the latter duo would date around the time AdrianahLee’s allegations first came to light.) But by pressuring her to speak early and get approval from her Demanding tweets before going live, AdrianahLee said Maya and Mizkif helped downplay the allegations by portraying her CrazySlick in a more favorable light.
Yesterday, when well-known streamers such as Asmongold and Pokimane made statements about Twitch’s rampant gambling woes, the betting channel Trainwreck said clapped back at Mizkif, declare that “Mizkif didn’t attack the women, he orchestrated the cover-ups for his friends” to “cover up all those sexual assaults” against CrazySlick. At the same time, old videos and screenshots of Mizkif’s were uncovered, in which he both undermined AdrianahLee’s experience – calling it “not really a problem” – and used a handful of slander in a chat with a friend against black and LGBTQ+ people.
Furthermore, some claim that CrazySlick has a history of similar incidents with other women. AdrianahLee maintains an ongoing Twitter thread to platform women, both by name and anonymously, who are willing to provide information about how CrazySlick had attacked or harassed them.

Maya has broken her silence about the situation. In a recent Twitch stream, Maya said that during a conversation she had with AdrianahLee about meeting CrazySlick, AdrianahLee told Maya that he had not raped or sexually assaulted her. Because Maya “didn’t consider it a rape or assault” when it happened, Maya had AdrianahLee include that detail in the TwitLonger post.
However, Maya now says she recognizes the uneven “power dynamics” between herself and AdrianahLee, as Maya is a much bigger streamer. So Maya apologized to AdrianahLee, noting that she “felt bad” and “wasn’t trying to force [AdrianahLee] to say something” that would downplay her traumatic experience.
Maya has responded with her side of what happened to Adrianah Lee, saying there was no cover-up. She says at the time that Adrianah said it wasn’t assault, so Maya asked for that to be included in the twitlonger, and that they didn’t pronounce that twitlonger for her. pic.twitter.com/pWAHXuC0et

CrazySlick has also responded to the assault allegations by saying in some now-deleted tweets that he has “never sexually abused anyone and never will,” while claiming that he checked AdrianahLee’s pulse through her “neck and wrist only”. CrazySlick’s Twitch is still active, but he has deactivated his Twitter.
AdrianahLee is still grappling with the aftermath of the situation and says the whole debacle has felt like one big gaslight incident to her and her friends.
“It was an attack,” AdrianahLee said in a Sept. 19 stream. “Well I guess I don’t know… What is attack defined [as]? [CrazySlick] didn’t rape me. He didn’t put a finger in me or anything, but he touched my chest area several times when asked to stop several times. Whether that’s harassment or assault is up to you. I think it’s me. It’s something that makes me damn uncomfortable. It’s something that sucks. It’s something that should not happen to any woman.”
In the wake of these details resurfacing, Mizkif has been suspended from One True King (OTK), the esports organization he co-founded with other streamers such as Asmongold in October 2020. In a statement on its official Twitter, OTK said it is working. of “contacting an outside legal organization” to investigate Mizkif’s behavior and language.

“Mizkif has been placed on leave and will relinquish his organizational duties pending the results of the investigation,” the organization said. “OTK strongly condemns sexual harassment, assault and bigotry in all forms.”
Mizkif also issued a statement on the matter. In a TwitLonger post, he said CrazySlick was “told to leave” [the] home as soon as possible,” and apologized to “everyone affected by the situation.” In a follow-up tweet, Mizkif clarified that CrazySlick had sexually assaulted AdrianahLee.
I want to make it clear, the harassment is about the disagreement logs and comments made to every girl who came forward.
Slick sexually assaulted Adrianah. And there is no excuse for it. Her story deserves to be told. And I’m glad she was able to share it in full.
