Nintendo has enjoyed another week at the top of the charts, although few new releases stand in the way of displacing Splatoon 3.

As the drought of the Summer Games drags into the fall, it’s not surprising that Splatoon 3 is still at number one, with not a single newcomer in the top 40.

Splatoon 3 saw sales drop 60% in its second week, which is normal for a major release, and while Nintendo isn’t releasing any official numbers, it looks like it’s sold particularly well as a digital release – no doubt due to it’s mainly an online game.

There are a few noteworthy launches this week, but Return To Monkey Island and Hardspace: Shipbreaker don’t have physical releases, although Square Enix’s The DioField Chronicles does.
