The Duchess of Sussex is said to have requested a “one-on-one” meeting with King Charles III in an attempt to “clear the air,” a royal reporter claimed.
Entertainment and Royal reporter Neil Sean, who has appeared on NBC News, MSNBC & Access Hollywood, claimed that a “very good source” told him that Meghan’s request was placed in a formal letter.
“She now wants (before returning to California) to have a one-on-one audience with King Charles III,” Sean said in a YouTube video.
“That’s right, Meghan one-on-one with King Charles III. You heard right.

“And what’s interesting here is that according to that good source, this was done in a formal letter, you write to the king.
“Now you have to admire Meghan’s confidence no matter what you think.”
Sean said the letter would be “an opportunity to clear the air, discern the rights from the mistakes, and explain some of the rationale behind what they’ve been up to over the past two years.”
“Honestly, we have no idea if this will continue,” he said.
“It’s a very brave move by Meghan herself.”
The Duchess of Sussex, who kept quiet during Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral procession, paid a moving tribute to her mother-in-law.
The mother of two wore an all-black dress to match her outfit of matching heels and a wide-brimmed hat when she arrived at Westminster Hall for the service on Monday.
But she made sure to honor Her Majesty by wearing a pair of sparkly diamond earrings that she had been given when she was a working member of the royal family.
Meghan previously spoke about how much the earrings meant to her during the controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey last year.
“For example, the Queen has always been wonderful to me. I mean, we had one of our first engagements together. She asked me to go with her,” she said.
“We had breakfast together that morning and she gave me a nice present, and I just really enjoyed being in her company. And I remember we were in the car.
“She gave me a pair of beautiful pearl earrings and a matching necklace.”
