The latest from Limited Run Games, what we can look forward to in the future from the company and the recent acquisition of Embracer.
Limited Run Games has grown and expanded steadily over the years, having recently opened a brick and mortar store and been acquired by Embracer Group. Curious to learn more about the products and projects Limited Run has in the works, and more about the Embracer acquisition, Blake Morse of Shacknews hooked up with Limited Run at PAX West.
It was noted during the show that the Limited Run flagship was exclusive to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which is exciting not only in terms of gameplay, but also in the way it was presented and sold.

As for the recent opening of the physical Limited Run store, the sheer attention to detail and love that went into making the store a cool, nostalgic experience was brought out, including how when the store opened there was a line from 7am was to get in.
Since opening, the store continues to thrive with a steady flow of traffic, even if the store is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Other areas of focus for Limited Run at the moment include the recent expansion of the company’s trading card packs and getting the collectible card trade more broadly.
The conversation continues with other expansion areas for Limited Run, and as a whole it’s a fascinating conversation. If you like Limited Run, or are just curious about what the company has in store for the future, be sure to watch the full interview on GamerHubTV.
